Question.
With more armor XP does your actual armor get better? Same for power, stealth etc?
So if i have like a lv10 power do I kill faster vs a guy with lv6 power?
You can unlock more perks to virtually upgrade your equipment in different ways. Less energy used in armor, faster transition in to and out of stealth, etc

OK? I know you can upgrade perks and what not but my question is about armor levels and their subsequent advantage without "perks". Same for stealth and power.

id suspect not, sounds overpowered.
anyone with a level advantage would almost always win any gunfight if this were the case

Basically if you have a higher level on armor, you unlock perks that can be equipped to make your armor better.
If you're asking if a higher level automatically makes your armor stronger or your stealth more invisible without equipping an additional perk, no I don't think it does.

FYI-
Cloak Tracker - this allows you to see invisible people better
There's also one that makes you more invisible
If there's one thing I've learned, it's what perks I will be upgrading. I got the strategy guide and it's pretty worthless other than defining perk upgrades and map layouts.

Havent bought one of those since Tomb Raider on ps1.
But I do appreciate the helpful info I learn from ya'll. Pumping LB before a firefight was super helpful to start.

i like the power slide. its sexy.
Melee taking 3 rifle strikes for a kill is disconcerning.

We are spoiled by the one knife kills in BLOPS.
If you think about, what will take less to kill you? Bullets or the butt of a rifle? It does make for difficult close quarter combat though, I agree. I try to switch to my pistol but usually forget.
There's also a perk that allows you to equip two primary weapons instead of a pistol if you're in to that sort of thing.
I've found I prefer LMG's over Assault Rifles in this game so far. Fewer shots for a kill. I will have to buy a SMG with my next unlock I think.
