Just finished my first full season starting with the Cubs. I was 2 HRs away from winning the Triple Crown. 
The offseason was pretty null and I was hoping I could sign with someone else. Didn’t really think you’d dive right back into the next season and seems disappointing after the season my character had.

My biggest downfall is that I refuse to lay off of bad pitches. I literally swing at everything and it’s frustrating as hell

My average is down in DD this season but I’m winning a lot more. Hitting .216 but my ERA is a 2.23. I believe I’m 14-6 now. Sitting in the 650+ Rank. I’m facing better opponents that aren’t throwing as many meatballs. When they do I’m not expecting it
One of my games yesterday it’s the bottom of the 9th tied 1-1. I had just homered with Story in the 8th to tie it up. Pitching a great game. I get an that is lined over to Guerrero at 1B. The next AB is a grounder to my SS in the gap. Routine throw to 1B for the out... Guerrero drops the catch. Error. Next at at. Trout hits it to my SS again. Easy double ply. I toss it to 2B but the animation is taking longer than I’m used to and when I go to preload my throw to 1B, the ball is still in my SS’s glove. frick me. Next at bat is Buxton. He hits a liner to Biggio at in the gap. Drops it. Bases loaded with one out. I managed to throw the runner at 3rd out trying to get home on a grounder to my pitcher. Then struck out Justin Turner to escape the mess. I won it in the 12th inning on a 2-run homer. It was ironic I had three errors in a row cuz I had just looked at my stats on the season and I specifically checked my errors and saw I had 1 in 19 games played at that point

Anyone experience a hacker yet? Just played a game where the dude was pitching a lefty but the ball would come out his right side and already be halfway to the plate. I thought it was just lag at first but he was also throwing a 102 mph slider and a 98mph curveball with Patrick Corbin. My game is frozen in the bottom of the 7th so I’m hoping he timed out but it’s been frozen for about 10 minutes now.
Also I’m up 2-1 on him because I got 2 solo shots from just guessing where he was going to throw it because he pitched the slider low and inside a ton
After 20 minutes I said frick it restarted my game and got the loss. I reported him but I doubt much will happen

Is the create a stadium feature being used as well as the rosters? Waiting for this game to go on sale, but I'm interested to see how well the community is using the feature. Want to do a franchise where I'm at a different stadium each game

No it wasn’t. Again I’m not sure I’ve never seen anything like it before. He was a lefty and his pitcher would start the windup and the ball wouldn’t appear until it was halfway to the plate and would appear on the right side instead of the left. Also I’m not sure even a created player could throw 102 slider and 99 curveball

I’ve read about this on Reddit and apparently it’s a glitch. Idk how it occurs.

My rank is now 750 and I don’t want to jinx myself but the game has gotten easier. The PCI for the earlier ranks covers half the plate making any pitch a threat to leave the park. I actually feel like my pitch placement has more value now.

It’s amazing how some people can make good contact on just about every pitch thrown at them. Had a guy last night hit two HRs off of Nolan Ryan when I threw balls. I quit after I hung a fastball in frustration

Anyone encounter a freeze off? Plying to go to the World Series and the dude froze the game and now first one to leave gets the loss. I’m determined to sit here all damn night. I was winning so he should leave first

Yeah it’s happening more frequently imo. I’ve had 3 freeze offs in my last 10 or so games. I had played 50+ prior to that with maybe 1 outside of opening weekend.
