Wow. Seriously? That's terrible. Why wouldn't they just do it per time zone so as not to completely bring the servers to a crawl?

No idea, maybe they will but that's on Sony they control the store.
I preordered Infamous digitally and it unlocked at 2am for me, same as other games I've downloaded from preordering, always Pacific for whatever reason.

It's certainly possible they changed it for this game. But everything else has went by Pacific to unlock the download including infamous just last month.

It was supposed to be 12:01 ET. Apprently not out yet. People are reaching out to them. Would expect it to be up here somewhat shortly. I keep checking.

I hate you all. I'm sitting here watching the developer play. I'll be picking up my copy tomorrow morning but won't be able to play until later tomorrow afternoon after i get off work.

Sheesh. That wouldn't surprise me either with it being a smaller game.
It was midnight Pacific for Infamous but that was a major title and sales/preorder wise this isn't. The Store doesn't update until 6am Pacific u less it's a major title they push at 2 am.
I could see that being true but idk, seems like when I bought NHL and NCAA digitally it was midnight Pacific too.

Well now that thread is all over the place. Some other guy saying he's downloading.
Eta: I'm assuming that in order to download it I just need to go to the game in the ps store? Since it isn't available for auto download.

Yea, just click on the game and it'll say you purchased it and if it's available to D/L then you should be able to.

Developer just said the lead producer is on the problem and is getting on people's asses so it will get resolved.

Just spoke to the designer who is streaming and he sent the text to the big wig who replied that he is on it. So they are aware and working on it. He said the guy who texted back was the guy who can "throw his weight around and get something done"
