re: Minecraft (360)

Now my next question I tried to put sticks and wood in the furnace and nothing happened. Do these not produce coal?

HogDaddy, Jace, myself, and a TW friend Of mine I got hooked on Minecraft last, GeauxBlaise, started a new world yesterday on the map sees 'gargoyle'

Successes:
- GeauxBlaise went from original 'MJL/Anti' sentiments about Minecraft to hooked like a crack phene
- pimp arse bungalow in the side of a mountain. Waterfall coming down one wall, lava waterfall coming down the other.
- Our mine is the mother load. Nothing but deep caverns of lava and waterfalls. Packed full of diamonds, iron, red stone, and coal.
- Trap door shortcuts into our temporary sleeping quarters from the top of the mountain bungalow. Fall into the trap door, down a shaft, into our hottub in the sleeping quarters.
- Found a bad guy spawn box. Profit.

Failures:
- Long arse journey/hike from spawn point to home base in deep valley.
- Lava waterfalls and carved out paths. Don't mix.
- Setting multiple TNT boxes next to each other in an attempt to clear out mountainside. I killed 2 of us due to chain reaction explosions.
- the zombies in our world have really stepped their game up. Not only do they hurt your but I was pushed by zombies into a lava pit twice yesterday. frickers.

Sounds sweet, Proof

You sure? The coal just look a little darker than the flint (and I don't think flint comes from rocks unless it comes from gravel as I see something coming from that occasionally) but both have the same shape. Just mine the rocks that have all the black speckles in them (all over the map and everywhere) and that is the coal. Just take that and some sticks to the crafting table and make coal torches.

Ohh ok. Ive never seen a black speckled rock. Will a wooden tool produce coal from this rock or do I need something better?

Cool thing about torches is that you only need two slots to make them, so you don't need the crafting table.

And when you find coal, you usually find a lot. At least in my experience.

If it's speckled, it has coal. It goes quicker with a pick axe, but you could just sit there and smack at it with no tool and eventually get it. Just takes longer.

Kkk. Thanks you guyyyssssss. I got trapped in the dark a dug down instead of up and im sure most of you know what happened as I did not have light. Dont want it happening again.

Ive probably played 15 hours and have yet to craft a tourch. Im in the fricking stone ages man. Gravel, cobblestone, wooden tool, and sand is all ive bout discovered.

Pro tip, make frequent stops to unload your valuables. I've fricked myself for the last time running into a creeper spawn or falling into lava.
