In just kicking it off. There’s a morality system yes? And good/bad gives different dialogue options I’ve heard. Is there any other importance to if?

The morality system in each game is different. With that said, Mass Effect is a game truly about choice. A huge number of choices you make will impact later games. And now I’m going to give what I assume will be a staggeringly controversial piece of advice:

If you think you will have more than one playthrough, go in blind and live with your choices.

However…

If you’re a one and done kind of gamer, feel free to do some research. Your decisions won’t be as impactful, but you’ll hate yourself far less. Because if you go in blind, you will absolutely break shite. It’s kinda awesome that you can do so, but if you’re going to be pissed that you didn’t end up with the “best” outcome, there’s little chance you luck into that on your first try going in blind.

By break shite do you mean like KOTOR where they don’t warn you going dark will eventually make you slaughter for of your friends, or even worse mind control them to kill each other?

Or just some shite will shake out wrong. If I like the game I’ll play it more than once to get the different things so if it’s the first thing I’d rather get a little informed if it’s just stuff that you might not generally wanted the outcome but it is a choice based game and it’s a branch of the story I’d rather be blind first. I heard you can only be a dick as Shepard if you have more dark points is that right? My buddy also told one scene where you can like frick your teammates serial killer mother of your companion then side with the mother and kill your companion lol

That got woefully lost in translation, but amusingly, I think I know what you’re talking about, regardless

And you can frick up and get major characters you care about killed fairly easily. But like I said, just depends on how you want to experience the series. There’s no right or wrong.

And as a point of clarification, you can always be a dick. As a rule, the top right is paragon and the bottom right is renegade. But you’ll see blue and red dialogue options that are grayed out if you don’t meet the requirements. Those tend to be considered “better” dialogue options.

Is there a Bastala in this game? I mean to say a very clear cannon romance that you’re supposed to pick?

Liara has the cleanest romance arc throughout the trilogy, but there’s nothing stopping you from bouncing around. There are also some great options that don’t open up until the second game.

Nah, not the last. Bunches of them left.

Speaking of dialogue, walk the entire ship and talk to everyone after missions, and at minimum after each story mission. Dialogue and exposition make the game.

I usually always do that in these types of games you’re saying it’s worth the game? Some games will cheap out on that stuff and the stuff you hear is useless mostly without adding shite. I am playing this game 100% to intake the world as if it’s a movie
