I read someplace that completing a silver challenge over this past weekend would unlock a "victory" booster pack.
Did I completely make this up, because we definitely didn't get a booster pack.
Also, I'd google it, but our office filter blocks every gaming site known to man, other than this little slice of heaven.

Only if people killed a million brutes on at least silver in multiplayer.
I'd be surprised if we didn't get it.

Yup, one million brutes.
Also you get a bonus for winning a silver reaper round. Doesn't even have to be a full extraction if I'm not mistaken. Supposed to come with a guaranteed n7 weapon.
I could sure use the extra firepower, especially where snipers are concerned. Mantis just doesn't get it done beyond bronze.

I think it was, but maybe we had the enemies set to random. If either of you got it, was it there instantly, or will it be there when the 1,000,000 brute packs come out?
Also, any word if we killed 1,000,000 brutes.
God knows I played this game about 6 more hours than I should have this past weekend.

ok, because I swear we beat a silver reaper. It took damn near 20 tries.
And we were all a little pissed when the pack wasn't there automatically.

I'm fairly certain the community slayed enough brutes and I know I beat several silver reaper matches.

Edit: Also, yeah those freaking Banshees make it almost not worth trying. Level 9 and 10 when there are two of them bull-rushing you....ugh

20 is the highest a character can go.
N7 level seems to go for forever. Seems to only indicate how much of your life you've wasted playing MP.
And as a quick heads up:
Promoting characters doesn't do anything but give you a slight bump in war assets and N7 level. I sent my engineer up to the big leagues and I regret it.

You can have them go towards the "war effort?" Didn't know that. I like my level 20 soldier. I wreck house. I'm shite against the fricking banshees but that is usually because the assholes with warp/overload don't use it and expect me to take them down. Then they wait to get over run instead of retreating to a clear area and wonder why I can't save them.
