Mafia II is such a good game

No bloated open world activities. No extra padding. Every mission advances the plot in some meaningful way. Great store with memorable characters. Amazing atmosphere with half the game set in the 1940s and the other half in the 1950s and seeing how the city changes between each time period.
I hope the Mafia remake measures up to the original games and drops the forced open world activities of Mafia 3.
