Wildstar looks fun, but just a little too Asian. Final Fantast is even becoming a little too "Asian".

Morrowind is probably my all time favorite game.
Oblivion was great.
Skyrim was awesome.
I couldn't play the EO beta for more than and hour at a time.
Hated every minute of it.
I wasn't 100% sure the game was at fault. I might still be burned out from the countless hours playing Skyrim.
From the review, looks like the game might have been at fault.

Someone said in an earlier thread that SOE was creating an MMO that will welcome back original SWG players, but I can't find anything on it. I hope that it's true.

Yeah, Smedley mentioned it in an interview. I wouldn't believe him if he said the sky was blue. Screw him.

Yeah he said something like SWG players can come home now.

MMO's just don't work.
The game has to be so large that you know there has to be a major sacrifice to quality of gameplay.
It's also impossible to incorporate really good story mechanics in a large multiplayer game. It's impossible to have each individual player affect the world.

Figured I would dig this up to post that a friend of mine talked me into playing. They dropped the price down to 40 with a month included so I figured I would try it out after canceling my preorder after my second beta weekend. Here is my take on it:
1. Not as bad as the betas. Sounds weird but they have worked out a lot of bugs.
2. Crafting takes forever it seems, at least early on due to not finding mats to work with.
3. The game is still meh and vanilla as frick. It has no feel of an elder scrolls game since the main story is tough to track and work on.
4. I find myself doing anything else rather than playing this. I was going to sit down and hammer a few levels yesterday and found myself cleaning the house and cutting the grass instead and then watched tv. No addiction to this game at all.
