So the blonde wife spilled gatorade in my son's PS4 controller and of course it stopped working.

Any tips / fixes ?

This is what I came home too after working all day

Calculate how many hours of work it will take to buy a new one and then kill your wife

(no pics) She has big titties but I watched a kid squirt out of that snapper and have been hitting it for 15 years.

I'd rather play PS4 if my controller wasn't toast

Toss in trash. Buy new controller.

GUARANTEED to fix the issue.

Take it completely apart, ensure all the parts are as dry and clean as possible. Clean off all the Gatorade residue off important parts with q-tips and rubbing alcohol, let it all dry, put it back together.

There are lots of youtube videos for how to break down and put back together a PS4 controller.

There's no guarantee this will work, but it's worth a shot.

I know Gamestop is the devil to all gamers, but you can take it to them and get between $15-$22 for it towards a new controller. They take "broken" controllers. Better than tossing it in the trash can.

Unlikely to work with Gatorade due to the salt residue.

Even if you dry it out the buttons will probably stick, as said buy a new one.
