I haven’t played since 1 and 2. Are they all still connected or are they now standalone?

Odyssey is one of my favorite open world games this gen; however, it's a bad AC game.

If they want to keep making open world action RPGs where you play as a mercenary in a historical setting, I'm all over that, but that doesn't make it an Assassin's Creed game.

I spent over 100 hours in Odyssey. I doubt this will happen but at this point, I kind of want a somewhat smaller, more direct experience.

I'm also still not sure how I feel about the RPG elements. I Kind of mission having side content as a primary means of making money to upgrade my assassin's arsenal rather than having to grind through side missions to reach some artificially imposed level restriction.

I wonder if you'll be able to beat this one with the same two moves like literally every other game in the AC lineup

When's the last time you played an Assassin's Creed game?

You clearly have no clue about anything.

Didn’t care for God of War in an open world setting but I’m down for some Viking shite.

After this one, let AC have Feudal Japan and God of War do Central/South America but in a more linear fashion or at worst like Fallen Order.
