Would love to try this out with you guys. Just can't tonight.

Played the first one a bit. Basically get from safe house to safe house. And tread lightly around the witch.

ETA I've been using TeamSpeak. Vent was ok. Never heard great things about using skype for gaming, but have never tried it personally.

Mindless killing with some strategy involved for the special zombies/monster/WTFisthat. Best advice I know is if you run off by yourself you will have a bad time.

I played the first one with my brother. Since we both want to be the hero we ended up in each other's lines of sight shooting each other a lot.

Also, get separated and then a zombie horde comes around.

We're probably all doomed

From what I remember, if you do decide to take her on, she'll face rape the first person she sees, so while the unfortunate one is going through that enlightening experience, the rest of the party can unload on her, and hopefully not attract another zombie mob.

I breath heavily into the mic. Really heavily..

Reason I rather vent's push to talk.

Thanks for the added ambiance.

My head set mic won't work for some reason, but apparently the built in one on my laptop picks up my voice well enough for my brother to hear me, so I'm going with that tonight.

I have a Steelseries headset but recently purchase a nice set of headphones and never want to take them off.

So this is set-up I am going with now:

1. Headset (These damn things are so comfortable you never want to take them off)

Beyer Dynamic DT 990 Premium

2. Condenser Mic (It is great but can't use it at night while the GF is sleeping, you need to talk up to much)

Audio Technica AT2020

What I would purchase if I haven't invested in my setup already would be a cheap lapel mic.

You can have a pair of extremely good headsets and the comfort of this little mic. The plus is you have a pair of headphones you can wear while you aren't gaming.

The lapel mic isn't a bad idea.

That first mic looks like you moonlight in some swanky lounges. Are you Harry Connick?

I like to record my voice in high quality then listen to it in a loop.

Anyway, it isn't that big TBH. I keep in in the middle of my 2 monitors on this stand. You barely notice it is there.

Stand

Honestly the lapel mic is cheap and probably the way to go. Wish I would have went that route before investing.

Oh boy I'm jelly of those 990s. Those were the ones I wanted to get but they were pricey on ebay. I grabbed the 770 80ohms instead. I cant use them though when I'm playing with people bc I don't have a mic yet

Ah I thought you had the 990 DTs.

You got the closed ones. I'm effy about closed headphones because your ears don't breath as well. The sound quality I heard is better at times but I rather comfort.

Lapel mic lapel mic. Cheap, look into it.

Do you have a headphone stand? I purchased one off amazon for like 20 bucks. Actually looks awesome. Will take a picture this afternoon.

Most higher end gaming headsets have a removable mic or Steel Series have a retractable mic.

Yeah my SteelSeries has a retractable mic but I wouldn't call the headset A grade. They are good, but nothing special.

I downloaded Vent. Skype still looks easier.

We can also use the voice chat on Steam
