Fun little story about my last bit in Sen's Fortress: I found that bonfire that's at the bottom of a drop, so instead of dropping, I rolled..............take a guess at what happened.

@carson i see i need some type of "Gauntlets" to ring the bell. dealt with the armored boar, so now i have a choice of sewer rats, a mysterious fog gate, or another route filled with hollows.
this shite is tough.

Only in Daughters of Ash. In the base game, you have to farm it. The guy that made the mod put a lot of the fan favorite weapons as cleverly hidden pickups

yeah we are playing a mod on PC for dark souls 1. same world but progression routes are different.

Just got to Ithyrll of the Borreal Valley.
Any suggestions? Still on my dex/ sorc build with a shitload of large titanite shards. And a new Japanese Katana.

We’ve all played the games multiple times so that helps
My first character took 89 hours to 100% the game (platinum + DLC)
My current character is at 17hrs and I’m about to fight Champ Gundyr + Dragon Slayer Armor

Get your main weapon to about +6 or +7 if you haven't already. Or +3 if it uses the special titanites.

Got the dark sword up to +7 with a fine gem.
I have the dragonite bow but the thing is heavy and affects my roll/ sprint. Which sucks because I use the bow quite a bit.

I'd recommend experimenting with lighter armors/leggings to get the most physical defense while still keeping you under the 70% weight ratio.
Either that, or sell/storage the weapon inventory you don't use much or at all so you can quickly switch between having bow equiped/not equipped.
