i always run around with a ton of echoes. gives you a heightened sense of awareness and you tend to play a lot closer attention to the environment

I was pretty damn far when I decided to trade my PS4 in for the Pro. I didn't upload my save file to the cloud, so I lost it. Reading this makes me want to start a new game.

It'd be worth it just to try a different build. I'm personally glad I wasn't too far in before I discovered the glory of the Threaded Cane and swapped over from the Axe, or else I would have had to just try it next go round.

I think I was just STR build on my first game. Definitely didn't follow a guide and check what was optimal. What would you suggest.

Carson, I'll let you know when I plan on starting.

Oh I am far from an expert. I'm on my first playthrough. I just love Chain Whipping motherfrickers so I'm using the Threaded Cane and it's skilled based.

I'm heading into Cainhurst Castle now. I'll be honest, I'm avoiding walkthroughs but I AM following the game progression path on the BB Wiki just so I don't miss anything.

Finished it up today. It was fun but those snipers can die a horrible death.

The little candle stick dudes?

Man, I had no clue WTF was hitting me or why I was suddenly marked by Satan on my neck.

Yep, took me way too long to figure it out. And the first time the ghost ladies screamed at me, I nearly joined them

Do you play online?

If so, did you follow the assholes false string of notes behind the stairs to nothing?

Sure did

Also followed that douchebags note at the edge of balcony after you go out the broken window. Fell to my death

Yeah, I used the camera to look around and thought, "Nope...this is a trap."

I love the added effect that the notes add. You never know if it's legit or a prank.

That's exactly what I did except I said screw it, I'll make sure.

Most notes are really helpful. I've found a bunch of items and stuff because of the notes.

notes are great for chalice dungeons bc they have illusionary walls.

also good for elevator secrets in main game.

the troll notes are hilarious. Almost never listen to one if it says "take a step forward"

Old hunter dlc doesn’t play. That initial intro to the dlc is very harsh. So many hunters. I somehow managed to clear the area on my first go, but it was an undertaking.

Started a new pure arcane build. Something oddly satisfying about taking down Amelia w a flame sprayer.

The beastcutter they use pancakes you on the R2, R2 attack. Also when you get it, it's a great weapon, it pancakes most enemies and even some bosses on the R2, R2 combo.

I said frick it and went to clear more regular content. Starting the final area tonight or tomorrow depending on what's at RedBox.
