Just got done playing the NCAA 13 demo

From what I can tell it runs a lot smoother than 12. The new touch pass is a nice addition and the new catching animations are a welcome addition (The receivers will actually dive for the ball now!). The "read and react" makes the gameplay seem more realistic. No more "eyes in the back of the head" catches. Oh yeah also no more jet packing LBs!!

I love it so far. I'm glad Auburn is competitive on there, it'll be nice to be able to use them online without getting murdered by cheesers using Ohio State and Alabama.

Have you seen any of our player ratings?
OMAC is only 93 spd 96 acc. Lacey at bama has 97 acc and Mosely has 92 speed to put that into perspective. Also, our WR ratings are just awful. I think only Reed and Blake are in the 80's
The team rating though seems fair though.

Just got finished playing also. There are some subtle changes but nothing that is making want to go spend $60. It just seems like a slightly more polished version if last years game. I think this is the first year I am going to pass on a NCAA game.

I might still purchase it. Madden 13 kind of killed it with the Real Time Physics announcement, but taking out the Fantasy Draft was a HUGE blow to me for Madden, so it kind of evened the playing field once again

Did they fix the blocking on the WR or RB screen passes? In 2012, I can have three blockers in position to block one defender, but somehow all three blockers just stand there and allow the defender to split them to make the play. This happens almost every time I run one of these plays.

Yes and no. It is a little better, but not greatly.
I'm still pissed at how the defense reacts to toss sweeps. It is almost impossible to get any yards on them. The DE is always heading straight for the sideline right as the ball is snapped.
As of right now, I probably won't get it. I've downloaded a roster for next year for last years game that is pretty fair for all the teams.

I believe LSU is around the 7 minute mark.
I really wish they would just assign like 2 guys to each division to have more accurate ratings of players. That won't take much to do. I mean, Corey Grant is our 3rd fastest RB on the team, even though he just recently ran the fastest 40 of any player on AU's roster.

yea, I saw that. A lot of that has to do with the limited numbers they have for each team, not being able to do the full 85 limit. However, that might not be a bad thing to be honest. Could be a decent mismatch against LB's.

By jetpacking LB's do you mean LB's leaping flat footed and snagging passes that are going 70 mph and 12 ft high with one hand?

yes, and they jump about 20 ft in the air.
