One of my buds suggested that I sell Dr NippleCream on ebay, because I get so many "dude your name is awesome/epic/funny/ghey" etc. Is that really possible, I've never heard of this.

You know the answer to this.

Perhaps ask the real question you want the answer to?

Sure, don't see why not.

Just change the contact information in your profile. Set-up an alternate e-mail address. When you sell the account on ebay, give them e-mail address and password to recover the account with.

There's always a chance that eBay might delist the auction since it might be considered a virtual item. I've seen some people sell an actual item with the account (looking at the auctions now, someone is selling a bag of popcorn with the account).

Nothing to stop you I would think, but pretty certain it is against the MS terms of service

You should retitle it to, "how do I go about selling my gamertag?"

I'm pretty sure you can't

I think I read a guy played for like a year just get like a shite load of gamer points and tried to sell it but they didn;t let him.

Should be pretty easy.

Put it on ebay, after the auction change the email and password. Allow bidder to recover the account on their box

Yes you can. I beat a dude in NCAA who was so pissed I beat him and ruined his 44-0 record. He claimed he was going to sell it on ebay when he got into the top 100.

Rack up a bunch of achievements and of course someone out there will buy it.

I made over 1000 dollars selling World of Warcraft characters.

Now I don't know what kind of platform you can use to sell the gamer tag. I sold WoW characters for awhile as well as Diablo 2 items on ebay, and then one day Ebay outlawed the sale of "digital" items from video games and I couldn't anymore, so you might have to find elsewhere. If you put it on Ebay, chances are that ebay and/or Microsoft will stop you.

i wouldnt see the point in someone buying it just b/c of the name. i get that "dude ur name is disgusting/funny/genius" comments all the time but microsoft keeps sending me notices to change it. i've gone from Chubbynuts to BukkakeBaptism to ACupofYummyCum to EatMyEjaculate and now its PerfectlyErect.
