If you loved Arkham City, this game is like a continuation of that (although the story is a prequel). Nothing innovative, and I'm totally ok with that. It was lose-lose with a new developer anyway. If they'd tried to change anything, we'd all be raging about how the last two Arkham titles had much better game mechanics.

I know this game is not being received as well as the the other Arkham Batman titles, but it does maintain the same type of game play as well as challenge rooms which I am a huge fan of.
I expect to pick this up when Black Friday and the holiday discounts tear in to it. Give it a few weeks, this game will be 30 to 20 bucks.
