They haven't come out with a lot of exclusive Wii-U games yet. They will eventually, but right now it's just not worth paying the price of a Wii-U. Wait a bit. The price will drop on top of the console having better games.
Oh. They don't have a lot of games? They don't have the same cartridges as the older Wii?

It just doesn't have a lot of good games. That's it.
There are a few worth buying, but it's not enough to justify the purchase IMO. The Zelda bundle is tempting though.

What is a gamecube copy?

It does upscale them like 360 does to Xbox and PS3 does to PS1/2 games. So it's something.

Y'all have been really helpful. Thanks.

It may not be worth the price to you but they did enhance some things on the ww hd remake. The inventory can be used on the gamepad, faster sailing, hero mode, etc... I know the lineup isn't strong currently but the releases are starting to hit and it will be a while before another price drop most likely

Do you have any gaming systems at all?

I definitely recommend going cheap until you figure out what you want.

Price has already dropped...

They changed the triforce quest a bit and made sailing infinitely smoother and faster.
Plus finding a copy of WW for the GCN is a tough task.

I just bought one last weekend from Cowboom.com for $149. They are a best buy site that focus on returns/refurbs. Just buy a grade 5 or above and you will be set. Mine arrived almost brand new and my son is enjoying it. It's a pretty good system, for that price.

Clearly you have not been following this remake.

Dude, thanks!
ETA: On the website now. How can I tell if something is Grade 5 or not?
