I placed in a marbles tournament on steam and won a free entry into a cup car paid league.

Should be interesting. Lol

Lol.
You will have to keep us updated.
My last race in Xfinity was clean 0 incident points started 11th finished 4th. I needed that and to be honest need a few more like it. I have yet to even practice in the truck yet.

The race was outstanding. Ran up front for most of the race but got wrecked coming into 3/4. Not a big deal it was a great race. Only a couple cautions so my hands hurt after 70 green flag laps at Daytona.

Ouch. I'm at like 1400 or so right now but of course that's meaningless in D class.

Getting in a groove of zeros. Posted a 6x at south Boston, which is crazy considering the skill should be better with late models. Maybe 4 more races of zeros and I should be able to reach C.

Still haven't got there. Every time I get close I end up having a race where I get 12 points. I really just need to ride in the back and take 10 L's and be done with it. Except I always seem to find more trouble that way too.

I was looking at this schedule for C Trucks and I only have two of the tracks needed for the season. Going to be an expensive one for me.

I went back and spent another undisclosed sum on tracks. Dear god in heaven.

Those 87 cars are murder to drive.

Good news is I now automatically get 20% off of every purchase. I'd be a fool not to buy stuff.

Yeah, it was bad

I'm set to finish basically every season on oval now though. Aside from the Whelen car.

B class now. No racing line when you get here, huh?

I've used them to this point but looks like they won't be there from here on. That said, I'm just going to do trucks mainly anyway. Those xfinity cars are super loose. Looser than the cup cars according to the guys in the race.

It's so much easier to keep a high SR up here.

I mean mainly trucks for the season anyway. I'll keep working on Busch and cup cars too. Hopefully get A class before too much longer. Amazing how quick and easy it is to get to B once you get to C. Took less than a day.

I've started working on some road racing as well. Hard time keeping that Mazda out of the grass though.

I want to do a little more road but I'm having too much fun on oval right now.

There are a few resources for track tips on youtube to help you with line. I subscribe to VRS and can compare telemetry and then watch their fastest lap to compare turn in points and other things. Once you go through a couple weeks in a series, you kind of get the feel for what you are driving and then the learning curve on new tracks is much shorter. Example, my league is running auto club this week and I haven't taken a lap there ever on iRacing. I started at a 42.1 on Saturday and hit 41.2 last night with practice and changing what I could for setup (it's fixed). It's so rewarding when the track "clicks" and I start picking up the pace. Now just to learn the quickest "save tire" pace.

I signed up for VRS but haven't used it yet. Do they have setups too?
