I have a random question about fortnite

Just a little while ago, my son (9) came running into my office all freaked out. He claimed that when he signed into fortnite on his Xbox and got to the menus, there was a ‘hacker’ on our tv screen, slowly rubbing his hands with an evil smirk and static behind him… I know fortnite changes their intros with their seasons and all that, but I don’t play so I have no clue what he’s talking about. He normally doesn’t mess around like this and he was pretty scared
