So we're pretending PS3 has no system bricking? shite, at least it's a hardware thing that fricks up 360s. PS3 gets fricked on updates.

yeah, i hate when it updates for 10 minutes once every other month.
i wish it would break so i can spend hundreds of dollars instead.

Nah, i got it for xmas a while back, hoping it will fall under the free out of warranty repair. I doubt it though, there's a 3 yr limit on that right?

So you haven't heard of the updates bricking the PS3s?
eta: Yeah, 3 year warranty for RROD. Give em a call and see what they can do.
