That little bastard that keeps running and hiding in the corner behind me is getting his comeuppance later

I'm at level 7 at what level do you start selecting talents?

You can do it now. You have to do Jackdaw’s quest and get to the Map Chamber, which is part of the main story

No DLC for this came or a sequel for that matter would be dumb as hell and I’ll eat my shorts if that happens. There’s 100% a quidditch involved DLC on the way. They built the massively detailed stadium got a reason.

I was like 18 by time I got the talent tree open. That’s because I spent so long going around Aquio flying books into my hand and shite like that the xp added up boosting me so high. As much as I love this game and think it’s a masterpiece the talents outside of Dark Arts and sparing little time else really make any kind of noticing impact.

If you read them with the accent of Lester from Cleveland show, they start flowing much better.

There isn't any DLC except for the DLC.

Man, I have been grinding my arse off it feels like and I’m only level 18 and 14% on my challenges. Just going to keep trudging along. Probably going to knock out some more of the Merlin Trials because I’m tired of selling and destroying equipment I find.

The whole Talent tree system needs to be massively overhauled from a balance perspective. Not that I particularly mind any of it Dark Arts should be demonstrably more powerful than anything remotely resembling equal footing with it. The game doesn’t have a return Kuros charm or demons bell rung level of difficulty that would ever justify building around approaching situations cautiously using your knowledge of the opponent and defensive talent tress and abilities to maintain grinds between check points or bosses.
I mean sure you can build that way it’s certainly in the game but it’s stupid to call that the mechanics or intended build variety. Dark Arts allows you to take the 4 or 5 best main non 3 green spells speaking noticeably here about Expeliarmus Flipendo Stupify Arresto Momentum and maybe about I can’t recall. It then allows you to spread one single enemies curse to the entire bunch easily without effort, deals out damage equally among them solely by attacking one, heals you with every enemy death, and more without ever even taking into account the 3 unforgivable curses or true dark arts. You don’t actually need or is justifiably significant one talent outside of Diffindos improvement and incendio turning into an amazing AOR spam (but not necessary at all) to reasonably progress. Potions and the r1 wheel are too easy to make with comical speed and efficiency with base levels of game Demolishing usefulness the room of requirement tree beside most of spells tree isn’t much of a true choice if you ponder it. Stealth speaks for itself as the stuck on added in crutch for the cognitive lobotomized demonstrated so properly almost daily here by board ape vingarstrokes. The Meta is unquestionably and undoubtedly spec dark arts. Every single talent there. Take the very few super helpful talents from spells. Beyond the expansion of diamond spell quick slots as 4 talents in core taking a buffet of what augments you best from there becomes a no brainer, but I’d argue some still aren’t a viable argumentative alternatives take basic casting reductions of cold downs. The ability to launch expelled weapons back wt foes viably game breaking when combining with goblins and their axes, quality of life improvements of Revelio upgrades, and the various stupidly improvements:
There is build variety here and ways to drastically augment approach’s to the game however not a single one comes within spiting distance of just conquering the game as it’s clearly laid out for you to do so.

Sell anything that isn’t 3 slotted with upgrade possibles and Carries improvements to curse damage generally or specific unforgivable curse relation (including confligo). A time will come far too late into the game for it to be a reasonable ask that the player engages with it substantially where you can basically grind down those meaningless gear pieces, and transition them all into upgrading the stats in the gear you want and using raw materials to make the perks from said gear the work for any individual gear piece

Can’t read? Or too stupid to act out one of the most hilariously obvious metas, and this is narratively on purpose and very intentionally done, ever established in a single Player experience? I’m not shitting on the game or it’s design choices. It’s without a substantially remotely existing argument that it’s not the most well crafted, technically polished and refined, and lovingly painstakingly crafted meticulously for single player new IPs ;arguably) as PS5 titles.
Just point it out

With as much positive response as its getting (at least from people not trying to tear it down and are actually playing it) I can't imagine them NOT doing something, even if it is just Quidditch and New Game +.
And I'm sure they'll want to add some bonus content for people to do after grinding levels.

You can’t get Avada Kedavra until level 28

Use the tried and true MMORPG approach and methodology of artificially inflating the level cap of 40 to something around 45 or at most 50 forcing meticulously mjn maxed players to reinvest utilizing sunken cost fallacy.
Don’t get me wrong I’m not tearing down port key games if they decide to drive this way in tandem with CDPRs philosophy of great impressive single experience DLCs for fixed cost kicking in online game psychological ways of monetization and driving player retention. There’s not a single bullshite 1.99 micro transaction aesthic skin nonsense to be found here no sir. And according to my collections tab I’m lookin at now that 91 appearance alterations, 140 conjuratipms to personalize your own room of requirement, 42 completely time wasted for making and so unnoticeably a thing wand handles that it makes Jedi Fallen orders Jedi work bench a modest idea, 150 (yes 150 and frickkng 50) revelio pages that have such drastically impressive range from lore too interesting tid bits to valuable combat data, to puzzle hints that won’t be needed for about 30 hours. Throw in 75 weapon traits 10 types of potions and herbogy combat enhancements and it’s fairly obvious I’m far from criticizing what they’ve created on offer her for the simple transaction of pay price get game. I trust them whole heartedly I’d unquestionably hand over 40$ for a hefty story expansion that overhauls gameplay with improvents and even that would be criticized as heavily overpriced whe it’s not in my opinion when the market around them drives people activity into doing anything other than playing and enjoying their games like we once did.

You’re really invested in this game huh?

Yea I too have played the game and know the most recognizable level requirements and caps for the most famous magic spell ever created in human fiction. Again though looking at things realistic a player on a 1st time run immersively soaking up this jaw dropping world and experience created for them it’s statistically downright unlikely they’ll be at or above 28 when time comes to choose if you want to fall finely to the dark. I mean you’re correct in a way and it’s significant for 2nd play through when you thoroughly understand what the game with demand and offer in return you can tailor yourself and desired experience to that. The level recommended quests seems so comically below you for these reasons but makes the word hard have a whole new meaning if you aren’t by game design intentions and your own internal motivations of curiosity and joy that you’re not artistically out leveling the content forcing significant decision maki g
