My son is turning 11 and wants a Switch. Has anyone seen any good deals on a bundle or anything Switch related? I don't know jack about the console, what it can do, what else he may need along with it. Advice and input welcome. TIA.

You're not going to find great "deals" on bundles, necessarily. Get one with a game and I think you might save $10 or $20.
Thing that is a killer with the Switch is a) game prices rarely go down, especially 1st party, and b) the accessories are just as expensive.
As far as accessories, I think the only must have would be an SD card. Built in storage isn't that much, so if you end up buying a lot from their eShop (digital only) and you don't have extra memory, you will only be able to have so much installed at a time. For me personally, the pro controller is a must as well. The joycons are awkward to use (some don't have issue with it), and they include a "thing" you can attach them to to make it more like a controller, but a lot don't like the feel so a pro controller is the only other alternative. Regular price for those are $80, but maybe you can find a deal on them somewhere.

I would wait until after Tuesday. Nintendo has a big announcement they call Nintendo direct that day. There have been rumors that they could be releasing an updated version of the switch, though I doubt it would affect the switch pricing at All there is potential that there could be some sort of discount on the switch following the announcements.

Never lol. I am not worried about the price just want to get the biggest bang for the buck. I dunno jack about games these days so I figured I would ask.
Good info on waiting till after Tuesday...I will see what comes of it. Thanks.

My wife got me a switch a few years back. It’s awesome and my son has taken it over, unfortunately.
