We asked and are awaiting confirmation on whether or not Master Chief Collection will support digital pre-ordering/pre-loading.
Halo 3 and Halo 4 make use of the Xbox One controller’s impulse triggers out of the box (we experienced it!), and Halo: CE and Halo 2 will have that functionality added in via a game update shortly after release.
The Scorpion tank still lives in the Coagulation Anniversary remake, but you have to turn it on in Forge (more on all of that later this month).
Halo 2 Anniversary runs at 1328 x 1080.
In classic Halo 2 multiplayer, the Ghost’s fuel tank could be shot, causing the Ghost to explode. This is one little detail that didn’t carry over to the Halo 2-emulating Xbox One engine that runs the six Anniversary maps.
It took a lot of work to make Halo 2 feel right. In fact, “We had to get Havok to recreate aspects of the original physics code used for Halo 2,” 343 told us.
Halo: CE Anniversary’s Kinect features are not supported in MCC.
Halo: CE’s version of Blood Gulch is the original Xbox version, not the Halo PC version that included the Banshee by default.

You can tell how much better that H3 screen on the bottom looks.
Theres no way they dont do digital preloading on this game. Im not even worried about that honestly

Yessir! We're supposed to learn a lot about the "Halo Channel" today, and probably an extra thing or two.

Thats legit. But when I see stuff like that it makes me realize that this game really isnt just around the corner. Still got to grind out about 5 weeks

The days have been flying by for me, but I've been keeping busy. Just a little over a month to go.

It has def gone by quick. I feel like it was a week or two ago I was posting 100 day countdowns and shite. Im stoked. Football season really does make it fly by.
There is so much going on at the end of Oct and beg of november for me that i feel like the last 2 weeks are going to feel like nothing

I've got plenty to keep me busy over the next month. The rest of the wait shouldn't be that bad. That last 7 days are going to be so brutal
ETA: Hopefully, I'll be here a little later to post the news today as it comes out. I will if I can, but if not I'll do it asap.

Continuing with their month-long coverage of Halo: The Master Chief Collection, IGN has posted a walkthrough video of the Halo Channel – the new destination on Xbox One for all Halo fans alike for news, videos and more.
The Halo Channel was announced at Gamescom 2014 during 343 Industries’ panel. Available in November alongside Halo: The Master Chief Collection, players will be able to download the application on the Xbox One and Windows Phone devices to check out the latest news, view exclusive content like Halo: Nightfall and Halo 4: Forward unto Dawn and much more.

Players will also be able to unlock exclusive content in Halo: The Master Chief Collection and Halo 5: Guardians through the Halo Channel. For example, completing certain challenges will unlock the Swarm Skull which gives Hunters triple health and allows them to do double damage.

The Halo Channel will also introduce a new way to view Halo streams. When spectating a player on Twitch, you will get a special view of the game which offers interesting stats such as K/D and up to date scores and you can also see the kill feed easier.

NEW HALO 2 ANNIVERSARY WARLOCK PICTURES & FOOTAGE
H2A: NEW Warlock gameplay
**Halo 2 Anniversary is a beautiful game, folks.**
WARLOCK DOESN’T HAVE AN INTERACTIVE ELEMENT
quote:
Brand new pictures of Warlock (aka Warlord) from Halo 2 Anniversary have surfaced today. You can see some really nice shots of the re-mastered Warlock environment as well as some awesome pictures of the oddball! The new footage of Warlock gives us some good insight on how powerful the sentinel beam will actually be in Halo 2 Anniversary.
It was mentioned yesterday in IGN’s Halo 2 report that they actually increased the damage on the sentinel beam and placed it in the bottom middle of the map on Warlock.

WARLOCK DOESN’T HAVE AN INTERACTIVE ELEMENT
quote:
With Halo 2 Anniversary, six iconic multiplayer maps from Halo 2 are being remade in a modified Halo 4 engine designed for Xbox One. With most of these maps, we have seen new interactive elements being added such as the falling stalactites on Lockdown, the waterfall of Shrine and the triangular shield onZenith.
On our forums, 343 Industries’ Community Manager – Andy ‘Bravo’ Dudnsky confirmed that Warlock, now known as Warlord, will not feature an interactive element.
No interactive element on Warlord. A few things were experimented with, but nothing stuck, and in the end it was confirmed that a good ol’ fashion match of 4v4 Warlock CTF cures any ailment.
This is great news for those who haven’t been huge fans of the interactive map elements that Certain Affinity has been introducing.

Apparently a white Xbox one MCC bundle was announced. But apparently won't release until next year. Seems weird

Yeah, I saw that. Makes no sense to release it next year.

33 DAYS

In thinking about multiplayer medal design for Halo: The Master Chief Collection, we wanted to be mindful of how players new and old want to track their accomplishments, and this is one of the reasons we allow medal display for Halo: CE and Halo 2 Classic to be toggled on and off in-game. When medal display is toggled off, medals are still tracked for the Post Game Carnage Report and Medal Chest, so you’ll be able to maintain a record of your accomplishments, even if you prefer the classic look when playing multiplayer.
quote:
All original medals from Halo 3 and Halo 4 are included, and legendary medals have been added to each. Halo 2: Anniversary multiplayer will also include new medals for game modes such as Race, Infection, Assault, and Ricochet.
