haha couldnt tell if you were serious or trolling. I'd use almost any monitor over a HDTV. Max input lag any monitor should have is 5-6. HDTV you're looking at 11-20

HDTVs your looking at way more than 11-20ms. Most low lag HDTVs still have between 25 and 40 ms input lag. Anything under 16ms is good because it's under a single frame. Response time is not input lag. Manufacturers don't show what the input lag is. You have to search for it. Technically oldschool CRT TVs have 8ms input lag because that's how long it takes to display the image on the screen. IMHO use a monitor. Most of them have imput lags under 16 ms. Go to LINK to find a good low lag monitor or tv.

How seriously would a ~31ms input lag affect a slightly above average gamer? I'm not trying to play serious MLG or anything, and I have a Sony that puts out a beautiful picture and I want to enjoy this game on it. Is it going to hurt the experience?

..a 31ms on your TV or your internet?

I've never seen over 10ms on a TV and that's unplayable nearly. If you're talking Internet latency, 31ms is fine.

Where are y'all getting these numbers from? 10ms would be unnoticeable when speaking of imput lag. It would be unplayable if it was 10ms refresh rate. 31ms shouldn't be too bad bebauae it will be below 2 frames which
Is 32ms. May I ask where you found the 31 ms number for your tv?

Yea I posted that link. Very useful website. Anything under 32ms shouldn't take away from gameplay too much. If it does bother you just spend 120-200 bucks and get monotor. You can get a decent size monitor with under 5ms refresh rate and under 12 ms input lag in that price range very easily. Just make sure it has HDMI.

You probably wouldn't want to spend the extra money if you're not serious. I only use my monitor for First person shooters. Play everything else on my tv. That being said if i try to switch back to the tv for COD/Halo, its unbearable now.

Geauxwarrior12 posted a link. Find your monitor and it should tell you.

Find out! I don't want any excuses from you when MCC comes out.

We need to all post GTs when everybody gets their XBones so we can always have somebody to play with. I know 3 of my close friends will be on pretty regularly. One guy is a flat out stud but he's a college athlete so he won't get to play every day. I always like have a good size friends list with people that play a lot so I'm bit going into playlist with randoms.

Don't know of this has been answered already in this thread but has anyone heard or know if there will be a Collectors or Limited Edition version of the Halo MCC for the US market? I know some were announced but were UK only editions. I haven't heard or seen of anything about a US collectors or limited edition release.

Anyone know if there will be one for the US (I would assume they will)?

Ive been away on business all week. My flight gets in this afternoon and I will check

Last i heard they said "no collectors edition at this time" When you think about it this is a collectors anyway. Im getting it digital so no box for me.

My GT is DoC Holliday31

I have some people that will play but I dont know how often. Always nice to have a crew. Especially if we could get huge custom games going

We will make a master list when the gam comes out tho
