Dang, I just compared my H3 stats to his... Not even in the same stratosphere in quantity 
I did switch my gamertag once because of account related stuff, but sheesh. Even if I double my amount for the one year I had played before, nope. I miss playing this game...

I wish I had a high K/D in H3 
it's hard as frick to have a really high K/D when you're ranked 40+ in every playlist.

Objective was fun as hell
I was pissed when the took it off the ranked playlist.
If you're a legit MLG 50, you're a badass player. You don't go into MLG and get carried to a 50. You have to be able to hold your own, and contribute.

PLayed H3 online with a friend a few times. It was so nice to play objective games on different maps instead of H4 where it is just BR/DMR fights on like 2 levels

Been playing a good bit of Halo 2 over XBC. Also had a few H1-2 lans the last few weeks. Got some 7v7 CTF on Blood Gulch. Man that was fun.

A 120 hz Vizio tv. probably like 4 years old. my buddy has a really old tube tv that we use to play on. We still play on that thing from time to time and its so money

The Tv is why you're struggling. HDTVs and original xbox games don't get along. The game is outputting 420p but the tv wants to upscale it to its native resolution so you get a lot of input lag. HDTVs have a lot of video lag to begin with. Combine that will that old xbox game and it's a nightmare. I play XBC on an old tube TV and it's so much better. Tried playing on my HDTV and went negative 10. Switched to tube tv and starting working people over.

I still use an old tube tv vs from time to time when I play Halo 2. It's so much easier to play.

Tube TVS are actually the quickest response times.
It's all about input lag for TV/Monitor.
I switched to a monitor last Christmas, hard for me to play FPS on anything other now.
I have a benQ 1MS monitor, but you can find Asus for around 110-120.
