Halo 2 multiplayer is still heads above the shite we play today. Maps were designed to encourage head to head battles.

On this board/thread there's really no question. Feel free to make your own thread asking that question if it pleases you.
Halo 2 was my crash course introduction to online gaming. The single player disappointed me at parts and at others I thought I was in virtual heaven.
The online was smooth and it introduced the party system as well as having full clan support.
You really just sound like you got your arse handed to you too often for it to have been fun for you.

I really don't understand the hype for combat evolved or halo 2.
I'm just assuming that it was the first time a lot of you got to play online.
Halo 2 was fun and all, but it wasn't THAT great.

No, it just plain sucked and was unbalanced. Ive been playing since CE and played in tournies and most pros I met and talked to agreed with me.
The introduction of Halo to online play was of course great, Im not denying that...
