They make everybody pay first, and put about 5-8 people in each group. At midnight the start with group 1 and everyone in group 1 walks in and just grabs the game and leaves. It goes really fast.
If you don't pay and get put in a group, you have to wait until everyone has gotten their game that has paid.

It is very important that if you plan on going to a midnight release and you are not "pre rung up" before midnight, you will have to wait for everyone else first.

I'm in group 12 where I live and got that spot at 6. Getting in line a little before midnight.
