I preordered Goldeneye so it should be in the mailbox when I get home. I'll play it and write a review here late tonight.

So you can play people online with Wii version? That sounds cool. Any news yet?

Yeah I picked up a copy today as well. Only played the first 2 levels, and about an hour online. Single player is a ton of fun....but I'm not completely sold on the multiplayer. Ill reserve judgment until I get a chance to play a little more.

can you have more than one local player in online multiplayer?

I played it for a few hours tonight. I tried a little using the wii zapper (gun) and it was awkward so I just used the classic controller hooked up to the wii remote. controls were easy to master that way.

I played through the dam level on agent. Other than a few familiar landmarks, there was not a lot similar. Only played through this once but quickly lost interest and moved to online multiplayer.

The online multiplayer lets you play a game with up to 8 people. There is regular free for all, team deathmatch and man with the golden gun (among others). It's similar to COD in that you get points for each kill or achievement and unlock perks and weapons etc.

The talent was lacking, obviously everyone just got the game. It was easy to learn the tricks and start owning each map. I leveled up to like 10 in a little over an hour. The man with the golden gun mode was really fun. There is one golden gun that shoots one bullet at a time but it is a one shot kill. Kill the man with the gun and then try to hold on to the gun for a long as possible. A kill with the golden gun is worth a lot more points.

The graphics were eh. Split screen looks to be really cool, it is the same as the original.

Bumping this to see if anyone else has picked it up. Just got it this weekend and have played a few games online. I'm pretty terrible right now, but most of the multi-player I've done are on maps that aren't like the ones on n64 (surprise surprise).

Played a little bit of the campaign and its pretty fun, but still obviously a bit different. So far, I'm enjoying it quite a bit.
