Do other games launch without issue?

ETA: you probably at least need an Xbox account to get online with fortnite, but my understanding is no further subscription is needed.

Maybe so. I'm honestly not sure as I've always used Game Pass. Wish I could be more definitive.

I looked it up on the XBox website and found this FAQ: LINK

It looks like that may just give you multi-player access for free to play games.

I don't know what all games would be included in that designation, but I'm almost certain it would include Fortnite.

Nothing is free anymore, in order to have the privilege of playing online, you need gamepass..

COD should open up at least since its got a campaign...It really sounds like you simply aren't online OR the games have not fully installed..

ready to play and fully installed are not the same thing

Do you have at least the gold for online connectivity? You also need the game pass sign up if you are accessing from their line up
