Game Informer shutting down after 33 years

I'm shocked physical media is hanging on as long as it has, especially video game media. I really liked their magazine when I was subscribing. Shame.

if anything, renewal prices should go down since they just raised them last year. i couldn't tell you the last time i even opened the email they send me every month.

I used to love reading about games and seeing diff reviews but with how many games that appeared to be bad arse were just okay or crap, it’s almost not worth buying shite until you actually see gameplay yourself.

My cousin got a subscription in 1995. The first issue he got was the Killer Instinct one with the skeleton on the front. Nine year old messyjesse thought it was just about the coolest thing he'd ever seen.
