I figured out a problem I'm having. I'm aiming low. I think it's because the tv is slight above me. After adjusting my aim, I'm shooting better.

Is there a trap hack? I just got third in solo and watched the winner set no less than 10 traps in a building. I guess it's possible he picked those up along the way but seems unlikely. PS4 by the way.

If he did a good job of looting and killing other people and collecting their materials, I doubt it. They put a lot of the spike traps throughout the map so I doubt that's the case. I'll collect 3 by myself and I'm the type who gets decent weapons and sits in a bush for as long as possible

try and get good at killing bro. any joe schmo can hide and get top 10, but you need to be good at different types of engagements if you want to consistently get Ws from those Top 10s. everyone does their own thing, but ive found much more success from actively seeking conflict and learning how to react to certain situations.

I've recently learned to get a consistent loadout and stick with it. If I don't typically run rockets, I won't pick them up anymore. It changes my tactics. It also keeps you from being loot happy when you are already in a good loadout. Standing around deciding on changes can lead to rushes.
Also learning to counter rockets with walls makes it less scary.

love me some rockets. used to not use them in close quarters because i was scared id blow myself up, but i've gotten pretty slick with them lately

I started out horrible so I trained myself by jumping out immediately and engaging everyone else. I like giving myself a chance almost every time and the bush strategy does that. I win in about 60% of gun battles so if I can keep the number of gun battles I'm in I improve my shot at winning. Not to mention it gives me to time to smoke drink and get distracted for a second. I don't think my gun skill can get much better, I could probably work on engagement techniques though

Playing duo the other night I ended up having 4 traps at one point. Just so happened they were placed where I landed and ran. Never had that many traps before, shoot majority of the time I never have traps
