There is a thing called settings and you can disable the camera and microphone. There are tons of patents filed by companies that are never actually incorporated. Why are you so worried?

I am not worry, I listed that as a possible ability, the Oped said that was ridiculous and that I heard wrong. So I did some researched and found those article linked out and now I am ask why I am worry about it?

You posted articles from November of last year.
Why don't you post one from this year?: LINK

Responding to worries that an always-on Kinect sensor recording camera and audio information would be a threat to user privacy, Microsoft offers a simple solution: the ability to turn the Kinect off, which they'd told us about. Better: pause it while gaming.
You can also determine which personal data is or isn't shared with others.
You are in control of the Kinect, not the other way around.
- You are in control of what Kinect can see and hear
- You are in control of when Kinect sensing is On, Off or Paused
- You are in control of your personal data
- You can use other inputs to control your games, TV and entertainment experiences

So, last night I almost had a breakdown and contemplated switching to the PS4. I got on YouTube, pulled up their E3 conference and yet again, found myself bored as shite. Fast forwarded to the games and found myself expecting more.
I haven't yet decided if I can't get into the PS4 because I've always owned XB and so subconsciously I'm leaning that direction, or if I really find PS4 games to be that uninteresting compared to MS' s E3 conference.

If you are still contemplating I would just wait for a little while, but if you prefer the Xbox games and the used game/internet stuff are not an issue to you I wouldn't switch.
On your 360 go and watch the extra E3 stuff. They have about 7 hours of extra stuff to watch. It is on your dashboard and should be pretty easy to find. I have a friend, who was considering switching because of the used game stuff, but after watching those videos has completely changed his mind.

I think Sony pulled a lot of punches. They have 30 first/second party games in development, 20 due in the first year (12 new IP). They've shown 5: Knack, Killzone, InFamous, Driveclub, and The Order: 1886. So only 3/12 new IPs.
I'll agree it's not a very inspiring lineup so far. I'm liking what I see with InFamous. The Order is too early to tell, but has a great setting from the little we saw. The other 3 are entirely forgettable.
Sony probably realized that they could get away with showing us games they debuted in February, a few new things (just The Order and indies), showcase some multiplats, and then deliver a knockout blow with the pricing and used game policy. Very low risk, high reward, and plenty left in the tank to show off down the road.

Microsoft is pushing the industry forward in my opinion.
I think the X1 is what consoles will be in the future. I don't think that time is right now. You aren't going to see relatively new console games receive a drastically reduced price this generation. I think some of the perceived concerns about the X1 are silly, but I just don't see the advantages it has over the PS4 right now.

DRM and no used games will result in: The same damn price for new games as last gen.
MS has already said it's going to take some time to get there. It's not going to happen overnight. It took Steam a few years to get where it was offering the pricing it does.

Last night was my only lapse in judgement and I was stoned.
I think it cemented the fact that I'll be getting the XB1 if anything. I've tried watching the PS4 E3 a couple times now and every time have the same reaction to the console...

I think I will get a Playstation for the first time ever, the PS4 impressed me, but in saying that I'll be getting the XBONE on launch day ... I pre-ordered it via my 360 yesterday and the PS4 will be some time down the road.

Everything I have seen and read will influence my decision, which will be Ps4 way better than xbox.

Serious question... What about it impressed you so much ?

Well first of all games like the Killzone: Shadow Fall, Drive Club, Kingdom Hearts 3, Outlast, Planetside 2, WarFrame(F2P), Lords of the Fallen, Elder Scrolls Online, Dying Light, The Order: 1886
Second I liked how they have addressed a few issues(mainly the PSN ... though I'll play most of my online games on the XBONE) and how they seem to cater to more of the indie, single player type games.
Finally when my Xbox doesn't work because my internet is down I'll have something to play ... a WIN/WIN in my book.
But TBH I was impressed by some of their games(The Order for sure) but more than likely this will be the last console generation I'll be getting, since I have to grow up sometime so I think I'll invest in both. FWIW I'm getting that XBONE first ... I just have a feeling that the system is going to be a lot better than people are giving them credit for.
ETA: I just saw where both Elder Scrolls Online & Kingdom Hearts will be multiplats.

for all of the people who are so concerned about books being burned, just ask yourself "How often do you actually read books?"

So, basically everyone should drop their issues with XB1 because it works for you?
Awesome. That's a wonderful and informative post.
