Looks like MS will continue to push cloud gaming as the future of Gamepass.

Amazon and Microsoft have announced that an official Xbox Cloud Gaming app is coming to select Fire TV devices in July. Similar to Amazon’s Luna cloud gaming service, the app will allow you to play Xbox’s extensive library of over 100 games through the cloud on your Fire TV, without the need for an Xbox console or PC.
Only the current Fire TV Stick 4K and Fire TV Stick 4K Max have been mentioned as compatible with the upcoming Xbox app. Amazon’s Luna gaming app is compatible with all Fire TV and Fire TV Stick models back to the 2016 2nd-gen Fire TV Stick, so, hopefully, Microsoft will make the Xbox app work with more models than just the current higher-end Fire TV Sticks at some point. Of course, you’ll also need a game controller to play, such as the Luna controller, which is currently on sale as an early Prime Day deal for $39.99. Many other controllers will work as well, like the official Xbox Wireless Controller, the PlayStation DualSense, or PlayStation DualShock 4.

If they keep pushing and don’t pull back investments then eventually people will gravitate towards this. It’s less complicated and less money spent to play video games. People can cry all they want about not having internet fast enough to play but that is a very small insignificant portion of the gaming population

Cloud gaming isn't quite good enough for this to be viable yet imo, but it is definitely better than it was when Game Pass streaming first came out.

It is perfect for games like Roblox and Fortnite which have massive gaming communities.

Speed isn't the problem, it's the lag. This stuff will never catch on with anyone younger than 70.

Old guy here, so please bear with me…
I just purchased a Samsung smart tv and got game pass all connected…
1. Am I able to play new games on here or just games that are on game pass? Specifically, will I be able to buy NCAA 25 and play it immediately or do I have to wait until it is released on game pass?
2. Do I even need to buy a PS5, or can I just buy a PS5 controller and a PlayStation plus membership?

PS Plus is equivalent to game pass..you still need hardware to run it and for PS, its the PS5
ETA: they still have not added this new app to fire..
