And the cherry on top for me would be that there is immediate availability of a non-absurd (read: kingpin) hybrid sku with a 360 rad. Would love to slot that into the side bank of my o11xl. Would ideally put it at the bottom, but that would make angry bubble noises with the tubes coming off the card being the high point of the loop.

It's AIB so it looks better than oh say FE cards.
Point was I really miss the AMD software and setup. Do you have any experience there or just fanboy Nvidia hardcore 24/7? Don't ask me about FE if you have literally none with AMD. Unlike you I have experience with both and can talk about it.

The only thing I insulted about AMD is that I think their cards are ugly this gen. I don’t personally own them, because they have relatively awful ray tracing performance and until very recently had absolutely zero answer to DLSS. So for someone like me who is currently playing CP2077 at 3440x1440 with raytraced light, reflections, and shadows, an AMD card would have an aneurysm. For someone who doesn’t game like that, AMD makes great cards.

Can't agree on the looks thing, but you think FE is good looking and they're hideous so not surprising. Personally I think RT is window dressing marketing garbage so I don't game like that or use it. DLSS isn't needed with proper frames so haven't used it once either and will become even more useless next Gen.
But all I've seen you talk about is the 4080 and getting it nothing AMD hence fanboy comments for both generations. That's kinda the point. Should be heavily considering AMD next Gen looking very likely an Intel take the lead moment with the new tech beating Nvidia by a full year to market with more power again and better efficiency. Unless you keep your head in the sand then well that's on you.

I think it looks incredible when utilized properly. To he point that any game with in game windows/glass that doesn’t have RT is immersion breaking for me now. Which games have you played with RT that you thought weren’t markedly improved by it?

DLSS is superior to AA, and has value there in and of itself. But even that aside, it’s news to me that current hardware can play all modern games at 4k 120hz+ on high settings. Then when you add in RT, it’s a game changer. I don’t think your positions on either RT or DLSS will age well in coming years.

Serious question: where is all of this coming from? You’ve basically invented this AMD argument in your mind. I asked you if you had any hands on experience with the 30 Series FE cards you were shitting on, and somehow this means that I’m debating the relative merits of Nvidia and AMD cards? It’s honestly a bit bizarre
Yes, I’m eyeing Nvidia next gen because I game with RT and AMD hasn’t embraced RT in their ecosystem. And it’s yet to be seen if they can truly answer DLSS. If they improve on both counts, huzzah. If not, I’ll be buying Nvidia. But again, I have absolutely zero fricking idea how or why we’ve gotten here

Best Buy in Lafayette has a 3070Ti in stock for pickup. Its still a bit pricey at $849 but is regularly (what ever that means) $949.
