Tbh it screams scam and that a legit old business got hacked and they are using it.
Lot of the reviews say the same/similar thing with the same tags, a lot are new accounts first review. 7 followers on inactive since 2016 twitter account.
But as long as you covered your arse for fraud then hey why not give it a shot?

I called the number on their webpage (same number listed on BBB) and the guy that answered said yes they sell GPUs, 3-5 week lead time, shipping available
So I don’t think it’s a hack unless they changed their number on the BBB as well?

Idk like I said as long as you have your arse covered then it's probably worth a shot, you'll almost always be able to get your money back if it's a scam/doesn't work out.

Read through the fixit discord’s mtech saga and came away with more questions than answers. As of yesterday someone got a Gigabyte 3070 Eagle they ordered back in mid-July. He did an unboxing vid and it was factory sealed and everything. You’ve got half the people swearing it’s legit, the other half still skeptical - but there’s about 15 people that are due GPUs that were ordered ~3 weeks ago, so we’re about to find out for sure.
Also, I saw you post that you ordered something three months ago? Is that legit or were you trolling someone? That might have been good info to have before ordering

I'm not taking that risk. I imagine he's either just taking a free loan for people for 3-5 weeks then refunding or taking a free loan until he can fulfill orders.
Maybe he has bots that are extremely good at getting orders from the big box retailers, who knows.

I mean, worst case you can ask for a refund and then hit him with a CC chargeback if he fricks around. The discord chatter about it is all over the place.

Hadn’t had that thought yet, and it’s possible. At face value, it wouldn’t make sense being he’s charging msrp, but this would obviously be incredible advertising for the business.
Should be a fun saga to follow, regardless

I tested it out on a 5600x and it works well. You need to manually click the refresh button to refresh your queue timer, so just spam that when it comes up after your card gets added to the cart.
I'll be testing it out this week on any FE's that drop.

Tempted to offer it to a friend but I think I'm going to to stick it out trying to grab a 3060ti FE for MSRP. He's in no rush for a build.

They got shite on pretty hard by tech reviewers. Basically, it was "there is zero reason to buy this in anything other than the gpu hellscape we currently find ourselves in, so if you need a gpu, go for it. If not, pass".
