I think Abby and Ben do a great job but they don't encourage those goofy moments.

I don't know. Ben is just boring. Abby is Abby. I don't mind her when she does a video feature but listening to her on a podcast is too much. She's almost killed GOTY for me.

all i remember about GB is the chick not wanting to give Nier Automata any credit for ANYTHING during their GOTY discussions bc of the sexualized outfits

Real interesting moment last year is when she tried to dog God of War because it made women the victim again, something like "of course this woman is just going to let this man kill her to make him feel better, such a tired trope", and everyone was like "..........she was his mother, that's how parents are", and she pretty much shut up after that.
Her first year during the Game of the Year deliberations, she whined "I think Cuphead should be higher" so much that even Ben shouted "WE KNOW!!!"

She does such good work on the features. But when she is free to roam a little on BeastCast she injects her politics.

I don't think that's it. As dumb as getting Dream Daddy in the top 10 two years ago was, Vinny came to her defense a lot. He literally is Papa Vinny and I think it's more of taking her under his wing and trying to protect her from the shite storm she tends to bring on herself. Apparently she got a lot of flack on the GB reddit after that one.
