If tweet fails to load, click here. I find it hard to believe they will survive without Microsoft. Hopefully they return to form and start putting out some decent games again instead of stuff with low appeal like Kiln and Keeper. Hard to believe those are 2 of only 3 games they released as a MS subsidiary, counting Psychonauts 2.

I"m just hoping Undead Labs really is in contracts with a new owner so we can eventually get State of Decay 3.

Definitely the only studio announcement from all this that I'm a little disappointed about. I have enjoyed the State of Decay games.
I get it though. State of Decay 2 came out 8 years ago and the last update was in 2021. In comparison, State of Decay 1 was released in 2013, a full remaster was released in 2015, and then State of Decay 2 was released in 2018.
What happened to has caused State of Decay 3 to take so much longer to developer than 2?
