Just saw this. GOG is awesome!

quote:

Dino Crisis and Dino Crisis 2 are back from the dead with re-releases on PC via GOG.

Both cult classic PlayStation survival horror games are available on the CD Projekt-owned platform DRM-free, with their original content fully intact as part of GOG’s Preservation Program.

Capcom released Dino Crisis on the original PlayStation in 1999 and then Dino Crisis 2 just a year later. Dino Crisis 3 launched as an original Xbox exclusive in 2003 and fans have yet to see a new game since.

Loved the original Dino Crisis, have it on the PS1. Never played DC2 because I heard they turned it more into an action game and less of a survival horror one. I was perfectly fine with it being Resident Evil with Dinos.

I'd love to see a brand new Dino Crisis with the modern RE engine, probably will never happen considering gaming companies these days focus exclusively on their mega-franchise IP's while their lesser franchises are left to rot. That means Capcom is gonna give us 95% Resident Evil and Monster Hunter for the rest of time.

Everytime Capcom does their surveys and they ask what game fans want to see remade Dino Crisis is always right behind any RE games.

Common Capcom give us a modern day remake of DC 1 and 2 in the REX

Would also love to see the same from SQE for parasite eve 1 and 2

I agree with the Parasite Eve. I always say that’s one of the most underrated RPGs ever.
