Got some good time in tonight with a buddy that knows what's going on. I hope they explain things better in the full game like weapons upgrades and what not. It became more fun when he told me about how it works.

The crucible didn't entertain me too much but I do like doing the story missions a lot. It runs pretty well in ps3 too which is impressive.

Story is fun, Crucible is where it's at though.
Just like old Halo you need to be partied up with a few friends, or like us tonight and last night between here and irl friends we had the full 6 in a party/fireteam and probably went about 30-12 total.
Much funner with a full team partied up using teamwork.

Sorry had to duck out early. The wife got home early and I was pissed off from sucking.
I think my first priority is to get better weapons. My damage is like 45 for my scout rifle and I see that one guy had a Cydonia with 62 damage. I feel like I get killed a lot quicker than I even have a chance of killing them.

That same reason kept me out of crucible last night. I maxed out my level last night though so I may hit it back up later this week now that my character can't hurt me more than I already do.

I know there's a lot of people who are Reddit-averse (I am too, mostly) but the Destiny sub (/r/DestinyTheGame) is pretty decent with some early theory-crafting going on.
It appears that Impact/ROF might actually be more useful stats than Damage.
EDIT: Also, to the OP: I'm on PS4 as bobcarr72. I'm already in a clan with some guys from SomethingAwful, but I'm down for grouping up & having a good time.
