re: Destiny 2 looks like shite

Destiny is just one of those popular things that people like to shite on.

So we really need to define what trolling is as a board. It's not any dissenting opinion that you happen to not like at the time. While I might have devolved into that and exaggerated my views because most of you weren't interested in having a discussion about the missed opportunities of the game, there is actual substance to almost all of my complaints. I gave D1 a pass because it was a new IP and I was fine with the lack of content despite confirmed rumors that bungie cut shite out to resell it later. The mechanics were great and the potential was there.

But then they did the same shite with this one. I bring up armor shaders because it's shitty microtransaction corporate policy volatile to the gaming industry as a whole and reflective of this game as well, and I bring up the 1 raid because if they had instead approached endgame content like ESO, then they could have included all former and current raids in order to let the game keep expanding and building upon itself. It seems, to me, that they are more interested in making a buck than an epic game.

In my eyes, they have made shitty decisions with the vision of the game. I want it to fail so that it kicks bungie's asses into gear so they can bring a game to market that can fulfill their own hype regarding it being an epic on the level of Star Wars and LOTR for video games (almost verbatim their words). That's my point
