Does the light level of gear that drops in the crucible depend on the light level of your currently equipped gear?

Assuming it does

As you level up, the light of those will raise and you can use them to infuse in equipped gear that you are struggling raise

Depends how high your power is when you turn them in. Once you get mid level they may bump you 1 point. Just remember a 270 with a mod can be infused with a 266 non mod to become 271.

No. The gear dropped is calculated on your max light level. No more worrying about decrypting with max gear on. Bungie fixed that.

Probably in. I will have Totes with me I am sure.

If it's tonight I can't play until 9:30ish. But definitely good after that. Can play Saturday or Sunday.

he frick it isn’t. Just had a team try it three times 269, 272 and 283 light. We had 27 total minutes and was constantly dying. Unless you dude are like 290+ light and have awesome weapons. frick that gay arse nightfall.

I have been playing Destiny for 3 years plus now so maybe that is why it is easy for me. I have to run one more this week and can help you if you need it.

But it is not a power level thing.
This mechanic seems to always pass by people but you cannot be over a level of an enemy. You can only be under level not over.

For an example I am power lv 303. I am not sure what the nightfall is off the top of my head but lets say it is 260. This means when I do the nightfall I will be level 260. Or the enemies will all be 303 for me. However you want to look at it. I can go into the first starter zone in the EDZ and do the same damage to a dreg there as in the nightfall.

So, if the nightfall is 260, your entire team of 269,272, and 283 is all fighting at an even level of the enemies. Enemies do not scale down however. If you were 220 fighting 260 enemies you would take more damage than normal, and also give less.

Just wanted to point this out because guys I have played with for 3 years even forget this. You will hear things like "I killed more enemies than you and you are 20 power higher" nah fam we are the same in this content.

Bungie does this so that high level guys can co-op with low level on any mission. Among other reasons. But think of power level as a gate for content. Once you reach the level of the enemies you cannot make it easier.

Now I do probably have better weapons and stuff which will make it easier for sure.

You have to create an account linked with your PSN name. Once you do that, then you can link it to the website. After that, post what you're looking to do to the feed, and people will contact you if they want you in their group.

Edit: Also message people on the site if you want to join their group through your playstation.

I'd use DestinyLFG with caution. There are some asshats there who lie about their skill or people who are just assholes and will kick you for no reason.

Also, don't be surprised if the requirements are higher over there compared to other LFG's.

IE. if I used DLFG and I am wanting to run the raid, I'm probably going to ask that everyone I run it with have the emblem for completing it because I don't want to spend six hours at Calus. Or if I want to run trials, but no one from my clan is on, I'll ask for a 1.5 KD and a 1600+ Elo. Most people for whatever reason see this as elitist, even though they are more than welcome to create their own group.

If I've got time, I'll go to r/fireteams where most of the people are more than willing to help and it's a bit less toxic in terms of getting kicked from groups.

I don't know what this means, but I don't like the sound of it.

Total dick move.

Maybe I'll just skip nightfall and the raid every week and just do stuff I can solo.

Lol, there was a time in Destiny 1 when people would kick others right before you defeated Oryx in the Kings Fall raid. It became an actual epidemic on the subreddit. Thank God it never happened to me.

Only thing that did ever happen even close was one guy had the invincibility aura and on our last round of DPS he ran and jumped off the edge of the map and then left the party and the fireteam. Everyone was just shocked.

I had to mute my mic because I busted out laughing. It was just so unexpected

The nightfall shouldn't be bad. I'd just be cautious with raid requirements. If you join and LFG just be sure they know going in that you haven't done it. That's at least my biggest pet peeve. When people say they have experience, but when it comes down to it they keep fricking up and it's because they lied about doing it previously.

I mean I don't remember the last time I LFG'ed for Trials, but I was throwing a random stat number out there that people look for and then others bitch about.

Selective Trials K/D when with a good team. I pulled your overall K/D when in actual matchmaking.

But you knew that.
