six month delay at this point but its still a very nice addition to the switch's library

It's cool that they have it, but I can't help but feel somewhat bad for Switch owners that other than the pretty rare first party announcement, it's been nothing but old ports coming to the system. It's cool you can now play it on a portable system, I know, but I think the power limitations of the switch are beyond glaring now. This is what it's going to be.
Plus, they just released, or are about to release, a new Warioware game, an extremely popular franchise from what I can tell........on the 3DS. Why are they still pushing that thing as hard as they are? That's a "perfect title" for the switch, and nada. I don't get it.

I didn't know about Warioware but that sounds.. less than ideal for switch owners. 3ds exclusive really??

Probably a lot of Nintendo only loyalists have never gotten the chance to play any Dark Souls game and will finally check it out.
Boy will they be in for shock. I think most of them will grow to love it as everyone else did. Challenge and depth in games is a secret sauce long lost from most modern gaming franchises.

Meh, warioware is kinda shovelware-lite and Nintendo is throwing a bone to the 73 million owners of the 3ds... It's a weird decision, but warioware makes the most sense of all of Nintendo's properties

They really need to just give the DS a rest and put all teams on the switch. They're about to put out Mario Party, Super Smash which will be great, but I've been in a lull pretty much since I beat Odyssey. Which to be fair I probably put close to 300 hours into BOW before that but I'm ready for the games to start rolling out.

I don't get the Warioware decision either. I heard a new Warioware game was coming months ago and thought, "Yeah, I'll probably pick that up for my Switch." I like Warioware and thought my kids might get a kick out of it too. I was dumbfounded when I went to buy it on Amazon and discovered it was on 3DS. For a system that needs more games, it makes no sense to release that on 3DS.
If you're the type of person who is still paying their 3DS regularly, you probably already own a Switch or are planning on buying one. There are no kids out there hoping Santa brings them a 3DS in 2018. They want a Switch so they can play Fortnite (and maybe Pokemon) without having to fight mom and dad or a sibling for the TV / PC.
Oh, and I'm interested in Dark Souls on Switch, specifically since I'm looking forward to being able to "pause" the game by putting the Switch in sleep mode. It was so difficult playing Demon Souls back in the day with toddlers at home without being able to just put the game down any time. It's one aspect I love about Dead Cells. I can just drop it whenever I want and pick it right back up later.
