I just realized that I made it through Sen's Fortress on NG+ without dying.
I died so fricking much on the first go-round. Probably because I was drunk as frick while I was doing it.

Four Kings are fricking hard.
I'm trying to scrounge up some miracles/pyromancies to get me over the hump.
don't have enough attunements slots/faith to make this strategy viable though.
contemplating starting a new character for some reason. getting tired of failing miserably down in the abyss.

Hey does anybody know what comes in the Collector's Edition of Dark Souls I've seen a couple different answers.
Anyway I have online for not much more than if I were to order the regular one so I was trying to decide if I would get it instead?

Are you on your first playthrough or NG+? I remember during my first run Four Kings were easy for me then in NG+ they were fricking hard as hell.
On my first playthrough I used a Gargoyle Lightning Halberd +4. It's overpowered as hell but worked well on the Four Kings.

Just a bunch of filler crap. Guide, video, art, etc. I couldn't care less about any of that stuff.
I saw for around $50 + and you can get just the game on ebay for $10-$15

Well I watched an unboxing of one of the multiple Collector's Edition that I saw and this one had a couple download codes so I thought it might be the DLC 
Well anyway there is supposed to be one gamestop that is supposed to have the game in store that I might try to see if I can pick it up but I was kinda wanting a new disk because I have noticed it's no more than $20 and then with a new disk I don't have to worry about something going wrong.
God I pumped for this weekend I will be playing this gmae so much ...

Got past sens fortress this am when I woke up and couldn't get back to sleep.
Got my fifth attunement slot too. Think I'm gonna stop there. Level 19 and only 5 slots. Not a good use IMO.

started playing around with a new sorcerer character.
gonna have to take a breather for a few days to get ready for a test, but it's nice to get some long range fighting in after duking it out hand to hand for so long.

Going to hi-jack the thread a little. I bought Demon's Souls a long time ago in some bargain bin type set-up. Played 20 minutes of it and tried to riposte everything, ended up not liking it. Worth trying to start up again?

I suck with parry and riposte.
I wish I were better at it, but it isn't game breaking.
granted, I never played Demon's Souls, but I assume there is some overlap. Try blocking, rolling, dodging rather than parrying everything. You'll probably die less.
