That is what happens when consumers hold the developer/product in high regard. Rockstar has earned that trust in my eyes, I can't wait for this game.

That's absolutely amazing. They made their money back on preorders alone. That's pretty mind blowing.

Oh I agree and have said so for a long time.
It's just that you have a few who say Dice, Naughty Dog, Bethseda, etc are the best and while all put out decent games none of them are on the level of Rockstar. Especially in this past gen.

I just sold back GTA IV, only way I buy this one is if they release a zombie version ala Red Dead Undead Nightmare. I'm dying to play a modern version of the zombie free roam.

IMO...Uncharted along with LoU rival the GTA games and RDR in quality. This past gen.
Therefore I do beleive ND is on the same level if not better than Rockstar this gen.
They are both fantastic developers though.

Having only played LoU, UC1, and GTAIV this generation I will say I enjoyed naughty dog more. However If I go back to previous generation and include the 3 GTA games and Max Payne 1&2, It's rockstar hands down. I don't have enough sample size to give a valid opinion this generation though.

There is no comparison overall who is the better developer over the last few gens...Rockstar by far. Just looking at this gen though... having played The Uncharted series and the TLoU, while at the same time playing GTA IV and RDR, with a little bit of max payne...its still close, but I would prefer ND.

I don't think that post about GTA having the highest production costs besides POTC is true. I would search for verification and post it but i'm tired and lazy at work.

I'm not sure what you are referring to, but according to LINK, GTA V has the highest budget by ever by far when it comes to video games.
I'm assuming the production costs would also be the highest.
