Man, you guys really hate Atlanticore. With high level revitalize and skill he is pretty much unbeatable in arena, probably in 1v1 torch battle too.

I love him, I have had him destroy a PD attack in hero trials with a well timed shield. He does rely on timing for the shield so it can be random. I don't have to completely stun lock for our boss fight because of his shield.

When doing expedition are you limited to one hero type active at a time or could you create an army of PDs and wreck shop?

I read somewhere that you shouldn't take your greens higher than lvl 60 and blues up to 80. Do any of your follow this? Is it good advice?

Most of us do this simply because the HB is better spent on legendary heroes. The blues and greens might be more important in the later game for garrisons, but I haven't reached that point yet.

I'm just asking because I'm finally getting some of my heros around this lvl range. Didn't know if I should stop or not. Figure they were following this strategy because it would be waiting hero badges to take them higher

Yep, one of the highest damage per second heroes in the game. What's his talent?

Got my first purple today. I'm moving on up now

Just 9 more days and you will get that Druid. After that you will wonder how you even played the game without being able to heal your team.

Your base looks pretty good for HBM. But just to be sure, answer a couple questions for me:
1. Do the enemies ever bust through your walls, or do they always come in your entrances?
2. Do any of your heroes ever leave the base alone to attack an enemy, or do they always stay home and fight together?

1. They will come thru the wall some times. I am working on slowly upgrading it. I think my wall isn't a high enough HP to deter them from taking route thru it.
2. Enemies are pulling my heros away from base and killing them . Rarely do the enemy heros make it into my center and have all my heros there to fight them.
I'm open to any suggestions. I got my base design online but it seems I have way more buildings than what they usually have at my town hall level, not sure where to place them all.

quote:Yeah, you need to beef up those walls some more. Also, consider flip-flopping where you have your strong and weak walls. In other words, put the weaker walls near your entrances where there's a smaller chance of somebody wanting to bust through. Always spend any gold you have on wall upgrades before signing off.

quote:You have to fix this. Once one guy dies, it's pretty much downhill from there. Click on each hero base, and take note of how big the attack range circle is. All buildings outside of your walls need to be outside of the hero base range. It can be hard, if not impossible, to place all your buildings outside the range of your heroes, yet inside the range of your towers. If you have to choose, put your weaker HP buildings outside the range of everything. You have to do whatever necessary to keep your heroes home at all times.
2. Enemies are pulling my heros away from base and killing them . Rarely do the enemy heros make it into my center and have all my heros there to fight them.
quote:Some players put all their "extra" buildings really far away from their core base. Basically, just let the first wave take out all your buildings without being harassed by towers, then they and all subsequent waves just go straight to their death inside your walls. This does two things: prevents your heroes from going lone wolf and getting killed, and it stops your towers from picking off most of the enemy, then the few remaining guys get out of range and just beat on buildings until time runs out.

You have a good base layout (though you might need to move that top tower one space over to get in line), but you just need to do a little tweaking. The enemies should target your towers, come in through your entrances, and walk right past your heroes on that long march to the tower as your heroes fight together to kill them off. If one hero jumps out to attack a guy who is pounding on one of your outer buildings, that building is too close to your core. A hero outside of your towers makes the enemies target him instead of your towers. That should never happen.
Just keep upgrading town hall (to get more wall pieces and a 4th tower), keep upgrading walls with any leftover gold, and keep chugging along to get that Druid so you can swap him in place of your Werewolf. If you move those buildings you will probably beat HBM B, and once you get Druid leveled a little bit you can probably beat C. Oh, and I normally do HBM without any troops. They don't really kill too many guys, they just slow them down and make it more likely that you will time out. Plus they get expensive to keep rebuilding. I queue up troops right before I sign off, then when I come back I raid and do dungeons until they are all dead, and then I do HBM without them.

I'm going to try to post a video of one of my HBM runs a little later, mainly because I think it's funny how easily I beat G, yet H kicks my arse.
