Well guys, I've gotten a little bored with the 3 week build times, the 3 minutes once per day of boss battle excitement, and the redundancy of the quest board and HBM. I have no reason to raid as I always have enough gold saved up from mines and HBM to do my once per week building upgrade. I find myself just anxiously waiting for the torch battle update to roll out.
The only thing I kind of enjoy now is arena, but I don't have a Succubus. Think I should go ahead and buy one in hopes that I can climb above the 6500 rank that I am currently stuck at?

Stuck at 6500? I climb I get to the 2000s and I run into the damn minotaur.

It does take forever to upgrade. I've focused on arena, leveling heroes, base design for hbm and recruiting for our guild. But I do see the wall coming when I have nothing left to level.
I think the spreadsheet would be a valuable tool but it would take awhile to organize. Thats alot of variables!

Someone already made a spreadsheet, but it's kind of unwieldy and doesn't give a great idea of how valuable everyone is.
What I'm going to build is a web app. It should be a lot cleaner, easier to use, and be more useful.

Yeah, I can't really beat anybody higher than that. Not even close really. Part of the problem is my low might, but I think a Succubus would be very helpful.

Succubus definitely has a lot to do with that. I typically don't get below around 7000 and I'm not trying to get up high. I've been as high as the 800s but it doesn't really pay...I can't stay that high so I might as well keep in in the 3000 - 7000 range and win most of my battles.

I stay around 7000. My build times are about 9 days right now. The problem is that they aren't staggered so I have a bunch finishing up around the same time. You could always use gems to finish.

New game mode supposedly coming, "hero expedition". You earn "merit points" doing them, which can be spent on various things in the "commodity house" building.

Ever since I changed to one of the box base designs (from my old 40:1), I have been raided 10X more. I used to get raided 100% all the time and get a shield. Now, if I log out for an hour I get raided no less than 5 times, bunch of hit and runs. Here is my new base.
Before my current shield, I was raided 9 times in 1 hour. Before the prior shield I was raided 10 times in 2 hours. All told I lost 110K gold and 1.2M mana in the last 18 hours. Statues really saved my arse in gold.

I have the same base and I tend to get raided fairly often but never very severely.

I took that shot 1 day after I got TH17 and was able to build that tower, plus the 5th mana and gold vault, so I'm rotating those 3 new buildings with just 1 builder. As you can see, my builders were busy! I just got that tower leveled up to arrow tower 1 today, so now it can take garrisons. Still don't think that will slow down the raiders though.

It doesn't at all. I have mine all maxed out (5 of them) and I still get worked by the 150+ people with cupid. And it takes them all of 15 seconds.

Why don't you change to your 40:1 setup when you log out. it takes a few clicks (bottom right corner arrows)

d8s11, it's worth 37 shards. I can farm it with 5 heroes, no troops, 2 spells (Ares Frenzy and Guardian Angel).
