This Immortep fricker is a pain in my arse. His skill says a "chance" to stun and do 120% damage, but what I see him do is stop my entire crew of 64 lvl 5 griffins, and 5 heroes who are all cracked on the Pumpkin sauce, and stun and kill every fricking thing in his circle. What's the story with this bastard?

The chance is 20% every 0.2 seconds, which works out to about one hit per second, or 6 hits per proc on average, on each enemy in his AOE. Only the first hit per proc stuns, though. This also works out to about 99.9% chance that each enemy will be hit (and stunned) at least once per proc.

A couple things I've read, though... Some think he can only target 5 enemies per proc. It's not clear whether this means 5 total per proc, 5 per second, 5 stunned at once, or what. Something I have noticed with my Immo is that in HBM, heroes and especially the dino seem to be able to just waltz right through the storm pretty often without getting touched, while the mecha men seem to all get stunned and pile up. I don't know if this means that heroes have a smaller chance of getting hit, or if this is just a result of the "max of 5" limit giving the heroes a smaller chance of being targeted since there are so many troops to target.

Probably Immortep. It's a sandstorm, but it looks like fire.

I told you guys when I got mine that he was worth the shards just to watch his proc.

I am farming F right now and I am successful on G a lot of times. Got 370,000 gold just now on G. I love this.

I am farming C 100%, and can beat D about 25% of the time when I try. I am wondering if a base reset to something more HBM oriented will let me put D on farm, or if I am where I am.

all four towers lvl 7 (two on their way to 8 currently) with all lvl2 garrisons
95 Druid
95 Ninja
95 Champion
95 Atlanticore
95 TG

does that sounds like I should be able to do 'D' more regularly?

Anybody else have trouble with multi-base save? I play on a Nexus 7, and I had 2 bases saved. It worked fine for a couple days, then one day it just forgot about my 2nd setup.

It's hard to say. Can you post a screenshot of your base, or if you're on Android tell me your name in game?

About your heroes... For HBM, TG is essential, Druid is very, very helpful, and Champion is pretty good. I would look into replacing Ninja and Atlanticore, though. Ninja never lasted very long in HBM for me, so his usefulness is limited. Atlanticore is only good when he's being attacked, and most good HBM strategies rely on your heroes never even being targeted. If you aren't having luck rolling better heroes, you might have to start that long journey toward saving shards for Immortep... he can immediately make you farm one level of HBM higher than before. In the meantime, I would look into replacing that Atlanticore, maybe with Succubus or something?

I have horrible luck with rolls. I do have a 90 succubus though sitting in a tower. I found that Atlanticore survives long enough usually to make his skill useful on wave 5 because my hero's more often than not are doing the grunt work. All I have to replace ninja with is paladin.

I am about 4000 shards into saving up for Immo. that's why I don't donate much to the guild. I am Justintegra on Android.

Your base design sucks balls. You should look at mine. Open up two sides and channel the enemies into the the openings. Stick all of your heroes right in the middle surrounded by towers. You'll be able to do it no problem I think

Most of the base models that funnel heroes into them rely on dps to quickly kill the attackers. If done right the heroes are not targeted first, giving dps time to do it's work.

Yea, I've never put any thought into base design other than cluster heroes and put the rest of the shite outside to soak up time. I knew it made some difference, but I didn't think it would make a huge difference.

I'll take a look at yours.

You need to change your base. Right now your walls have no entrance, so more than likely your heroes jump out lone-wolf style to attack the incoming waves and get killed one by one. You really need all 5 guys to survive until wave 5.

Switch to something like the DeathBox, 40:1, or some other design recommended for HBM at your Town Hall level. The TH level matters a lot because it determines how many walls you have, and what style base you can build. But the important thing is your base needs entrances, and the walls have to be placed in a way that the enemies NEVER try to bust through them, they must ALWAYS path around to your entrances no matter which angle they attack from. And your towers must be placed so that after they make that long treck around your walls, they go straight for a tower rather than your heroes. This is the strategy for most of the top HBM bases.

Edit: Also, your other buildings need to be outside the range of all hero bases. No hero should ever leave the core of the base alone because some enemy is in his range and not anyone else's.

It's a lvl 13 town hall, so that's 130 walls.

This guy was farming E at TH 13, towers at 6 and hero bases at 11, with this setup:

And no garrisons, by the way. Try not to garrison any more than you need to, because they rob EXP from the guys you really want to level.

And a side note: I was stuck on C for a really long time, and I could barely beat D 25% of the time like you. After I changed my base, D was too easy and I went on to farming E almost immediately.
