This is a 2d roguelike where you play as a horrible evil alien taking revenge on the scientists and soldiers who have kept you locked away in there lab.
This is really enjoyable. Movement feels so wonderful. You feel like a liquid almost. The way you move around the world, your tentacles are automatically reaching out to pull you along.
And it feels like just great to chomp down on scientists. Feels like your playing Alien or Alien 3

That’s why I always hated these kickstarters and indies that have this difficulty boner and dead cells worship without actually realizing what makes a platformer great. Freedom of movement. Great button mapping. The little things that don’t have to do with the actual game.

I don’t know if I would say this is a platformer..... platformers suggest a gameplay tactic of moving throughout the world as a gameplay mechanic/challenge. Here you can go wherever you want.
I do have to say, not sure if this is procedurely generated but I ran into an area that seems bugged that I can’t get out of. I tried for at least 20 minutes which is actually a really long time. Basically there’s a laser that if you cross, locks the door. The only thing is I have nowhere else to go.
Very frustrating

I had been looking forward to this game since playing the demo a few months ago. I second the recommendation for sure.
It's kind of like being in the movie The Thing, and playing as The Thing.

It's a metroidvania, not a roguelike, so in this case, there's an item/power that you need to acquire before you can get past that laser.
Edit: I realize now that this was a 5-day old post, so you probably got it by now.
It's pretty short, which I actually enjoyed rather than all these games coming out that take days of game-time to beat.
