Bought PS4 for My Boys, Samsung QLED Won't Connect

Not sure if this board or tech board would be better, but I bought a PS4 for my boys. I hooked it up to a Samsung QLED and it won't connect. It shows a PS4 in HDMI 2, but I can't get it to play. Am I missing something really stupid, or is this an issue with Samsung tvs and PS4? Thanks for any help

I would check the HDMI cable connections. It's either a bad cable or you might need to firmly re-attach it to the PS4 or the Samsung connection.
Sometimes mine gets a bit loose and my Samsung TV doesn't recognize it.

Is it in the 4K HDMI slot by any chance (assuming it's 4K)? And is it a regular PS4 or a PS4 Pro?

I'll have to check both things when I get home, but I think it's a PS4 Pro

Yeah I asked bc reg PS4 doesn't have 4K. So if you somehow plugged in an HDMI from a regular PS4 to an 4K HDMI port for your QLED, then it wouldn't output anything. But as the other poster alluded to, it could be a wire issue or it's loose.

Is the light on the PS4 turning white? When I bought my ps4 pro earlier this year it wouldn't boot up all the way and the light would just flash blue. The TV was saying nothing was connected to that input slot. Had to return it and replace it, 2nd one worked like a charm.

could be a bad HDMI port on the TV or the ps4, be careful when plugging the HDMI cables in, you could bend the shite inside and it won't work
