Agreed. Handsome Jack is a top tier game villain.

Just got caught up with all the BL3 info that's come out and gameplay vids. Looks incredible. It inspired me to buy the Handsome Collection on Amazon for $20. I played BL when it first came out and most of BL2 but I stopped playing it halfway through. I think my xbox crapped out or something and I never bought a new one then I let someone borrow my copy and never got it back.
Anyway, tl'dr, dear diary, etc... I'm pretty excited for this game and thanks to OP for linking everything.

I have never played a BL game....but would it be worth it to buy VR for this?
I have like $800 I got from selling some spare Winter Classic tickets sitting in my Paypal account and could be coerced.

It's worth it to buy VR and not just for this. There's plenty of great games and I think I saw where this version of PSVR would be compatible with the PS5.

VR, idk man.
It's not how I play at all. Seems like a waste for most.
I like playing while reading or watching something on another monitor.

I was skeptical too. It's not for everyone but I was blown away the first time I used it. It will never replace regular gaming but it definitely has its place and for me was more than worth the money.

Most of the skeptical folks have never tried it. One clown on here loves to rail on VR and then will admit he has never tried it.
I'll say what I always say. Resident Evil 7 was the most unique / horrifying / fun video game experience of my old arse life.
If you have the money to get VR, then get it. Just know the top tier releases are few and far between. It will gather dust unless you like simple arcade style shooters. There are a pile of those.
Plenty of folks love Skyrim and Fallout 4 VR but I played those to death. I've held off on Borderlands VR until a price drop because I also played that one to death but I am more likely to play it than the other 2 listed.
You do have to understand there is a graphics hit to VR but after the initial annoyance your forget about it. The next gen consoles / PC VR appears to have improved the quality.
I think Walmart has Bordrlands VR on sale so I might pick it up.
Oh...it should also be mentioned that some folks do get motion sickness. It took me a week of playing a little more each day to get used to it.

They turning this into Gears of War now?
What even brought this comment on? Was it about the gore? BL1 had tons of gore. It was significantly scaled back in BL2.

This game looks awesome. Can I skip 1 and just play the 2nd one and be ok?

You could. The base game for 1 is fun but ends with the thud, but 3 out of the 4 DLC's for it are amazing and I'd play 1 again just for those.

I've heard from a few places to just do 2. That will get me ready for 3. I don't know how I missed out on this game.

Story wise, you'll be fine. Vault hunters, vault, you could google any other pertinent info. Only thing you'd miss is 4 of the main NPC's in 2 are the playable characters in 1, but none of them were really hashed out, character wise, in the first game, so it's not a big loss.
